Unique hotel

Review of HF Fenix Music
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 Apr 2018via mobile
This hotel is really amazing. It has a perfect location and there is nothing we can complain about. It is one of the two best hotels we have ever been. Everything is about music, it has a very novel and innovative concept. It is really high-tech. Staff is wonderful and breakfast is perfect. The swimming pool at the rooftop has an amazing view. It is extremely clean. Every evening while we were there there was live music in the lobby and we could have cocktails and relax.
Beds are very, very comfortable.

After 5 days at Tivoli , Carvoeiro, Algarve we returned to Lisbon, we took a taxi that was not really expensive(about 10 euros) and we arrived here at this beautiful hotel. As i am a singer and my boyfriend at the time, a bass player we chose this place because of the musical feel and decorations it has.
When you arrive is like going to your own movie premiere , red carpet and reflectors pointed at you, sound of photo blitz , really entertaining .At the reception, drums decorations.Really nice!!
The room is wonderful , exactly as shown in pictures.we chose the DJ Theme, the lights inside are so nice, you can connect your phone at the Bluetooth the room has and play your music. The downfall to the room is the toilet , it is not really private and they did not give us a room with a balcony, don`t think they have any.
The breakfast is so good, there is a variety of food, you will get fat there just by eating breakfast. They only serve breakfast as far as i know, but Lisbon is so unique and has nice restaurants too, it would be a shame not to experiment and visit other places. The dining room has a tiny room that is decorated as a studio for musicians....it is a funny place to take photos, feel like a rock star. One morning, it was my boyfriends birthday, i told the reception and they came and singed him Happy Birthday , improvised a mini cake and then, not for us i am sure, the "mob danced" on Uptown Funk by B.Mars.It was funny as hell.
So , kudos to the staff!
On the rooftop there is that pool you see in the photos, it is exactly as shown, and the view to die for!
The city is so colorful and wonderfully amazing , i might have to see it again!
We visited everything , i think, and it was exhaustively memorable!
You should go to the Oceanario ,it is worth it!
Sintra it is not to be missed, Belem, Cascais beach as well.
It is one of the most beautiful cities i have ever seen!
You should go with someone special, it will be a million times better!
It definitely was for me!

Room tip: Any room , i think they are the same!

We stayed here recently in a two double bedded room with our son which worked really well. A lovely clean modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, also quiet and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was excellent, very well stocked with quality food.

The hotel is in the north of the city with a pleasant walk into the centre but still about a mile away. It’s next to a metro stop so I would advise anyone staying there to get a metro pass on arrival.

It’s quite close to the Gulbenkian collection which I would highly recommend for a visit. If you don’t want to go into town every night, there is a very good Italian restaurant around the corner, Al Garage.

Our son liked the music vibe and there is a pool on the roof, although not warm enough to use it while we were there. Excellent value for money, if you pre book on the hotels own website you get an early booking discount.

We would stay there again.

The hotel had been recommended by a friend, what a good shout. From the moment you arrive on the red carpet, you are not disappointed. Very efficient checkin, offered a choice of rooms, opted for 5th floor at the back. Very quite good view , excellent beds and bathroom. Probably one of the best showers ever used.
Went to the roof top bar a few times, drinks good, but the March weather was unpredictable.
The breakfast was amazing, what a choice and replenished frequently.
Could not fault staff or hotel in any way. Very handy of tour buses.
Would highly recommend for a quirky break in Lisbon.

Room tip: Back of hotel quiet noises road at front

My husband and I stayed here 3 weeks ago, our first trip to Lisbon. We found the hotel & location great, the room was clean and comfortable (fantastic shower), the breakfast was excellent with a great variety to choose from. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough. The location was also great, we travelled from the airport by metro which was so handy (you can buy a ticket for just over €6 for 24hrs which also allows you to travel on the trains, buses & boats - great value) from airport red line go to last stop San Sebastiao change here to blue line Marque de Pombal 2 stops and your just around the corner from the hotel - the blue line will take you down towards the old town or to walk from the hotel it took us about 20 minutes!
Whatever you do take a trip down to Belem, and visit Pasteis de Belem where they make the famous custard tarts - you cannot visit Lisbon and not go here!!! We only stayed for 2 days but I would go back again - great place to visit and so easy get around
