We went to this restaurant in August 2016. Encouraged by the fact that it was busy and moreover busy with two large groups of Chinese people. Sadly we were, from the outset, treated in an offhand manner. Things did not improve with the appearance of the food. The soup was practically tasteless (indeed we thought it might have been watered-down), the other starters were minimal to say the least and poorly presented, the main course was the real-let down; a "sizzling platter" was not sizzling and the rice was cold - we asked for this to be taken back and the waitress was puzzled that it was cold as "the chef had prepared it at 6.00 (18.00)" I pointed out that it was now 7.30 (19.30). We were not alone in finding the food poor - a couple (who were from the far East) were sending almost every dish back. To add to the generally poor impression, I offered to pay with credit card and this was refused as " the card was not issued in Portugal" (not the only time this happed on the holiday - but in a restaurant?.
We suspect that the two large groups were maybe at the root of the problem but that is not really an excuse for serving up a poor meal.
