Chunks of lamb so delicious, just melts in your mouth!! We were really there for the chicken but since we didn't have reservation.....at 9 pm , they were out of all extra chicken. Oh well ...we were not disappointed with what we ordered. Also the staff more than compensated for our initial disappointment by their energy and friendliness. Too bad it's our last day in Lisbon, would have loved to try the chicken. Totally recommend this place and if you are brave enough...must try the hot sauce.

The mixed seafood dish in coconut sauce was phenomenal and so fresh (& better than the other seafood dishes because the crab was already taken out of the shell). Reasonable prices for both food & alcohol, lovely outdoor seating, and absolutely delicious.

Despite the TripAdvisor description, it's not suitable for veg. Just one plate and nutritionally inconsistent.

There is something wonderful about seeing staff at a restaurant laugh and play with each other before the dinner service gets going. We came for dinner early ( at 730pm- Portuguese usually go to dinner a bit later, 830-10) and were able to see the staff laughing, making jokes, getting things ready and overall having a fantastic and fun attitude. We did not need to make a reservation because we came early and we were able to sit outside.
This played out well with the food. We ate Samosas, Yuca (manioc fries), lamp curry and spicy chicken. It was more than enough food for the three of us but we still asked for a second order of samosas and dessert!! My family is from Madagascar and I found the flavours (especially the spicy sauce) to be similar to Malagasy food.
The wine was good and cheaper (6-9 euros) which is what should be expected for a restaurant that more locals (not tourists) go for.
For the three of us we ended up spending 44 Euros and that included wine (bottle), juice, two main meals, six samosas, manioc fries, and three desserts (try the caju- cashew mousse it is amazing!).
I highly encourage people to try this restaurant if you are looking for something different!

Coming from South Africa, we love Mozam inspired Portuguese food. I felt rather left down after finally finding one in Lisbon. The restaurant is really small and stuffy and the food was very average.
