Nice little museum at campo grande. The ceramic works are very impressive since they are so detail. Also the cartoons were quite interesting.

We were very surprised that we were the only visitors at the time we visited. There is a short film about the life of Bordalo that is worth seeing as it shows what he achieved during his life. It's in Portuguese but has English subtitles and is about 10 minutes long. The museum includes some very large pots and ceramic animals plus a selection of caricatures. A very talented individual.
There is also a gallery attached to the museum but unfortunately this was closed on the day we visited. We will definitely return to visit the gallery.
If you enjoy the museum it is definitely worth visiting The Museu de Cidade just across the park (about 5 mins walk) as they have an amazing garden that has a selection of his animal ceramics on the walls and in the gardens.

3  Thank Fiona H
