Not a 5 star hotel, but prices are fair for what you get. There are plenty of true 5 star hotels in Lisbon, there is even a Ritz, but expect to pay 3-5 times as much for a room. Service is excellent, and everyone is friendly and professional, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. My room was on the first floor, but the window was on a 2nd floor, in a quiet street. Rooms are very clean and specious, but as other reviewers point out, there are stains in the carpet. I found this a little puzzling, since the room (006) appears to be recently renovated. Still, the room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Prices in the bar and minibar are also quite fair.

I do like the location, close to the Park, to the commercial center and to the metro. The touristic center is 20 minutes away downhill. If you do not feel like walking, you can take the metro or an inexpensive taxi.

I did not have breakfast included, but there are plenty of pleasant options just around the corner. I do usually prefer having breakfast outside of the hotels.

WiFi was excellent and fast in my room.

I left an USB stick in the room, and the concierge was very prompt and helpful in getting it back to me.

Overall, at the current prices, this hotel is an excellent option in Lisbon.

The highlight of staying here for a few days is defiantly the staff, the servers at breakfast and the other staff through out the hotel are excellent.

Every morning breakfast was good, we arrived at different times each day and whilst sometimes it was very busy we had to sit in the outside bits I can assure you that it was not uncomfortable, if any thing it was quieter so more pleasant for us. The food was always good, the eggs were tasty and not powdered as you so often get. The waitress always found us a teapot (yes, I know !!) but to start the day as you are accustomed to is nice,

We took an evening meal one night which was pleasant and there are lots of restaurants nearby if you fancy a wonder.

Room tip: we liked the rooms at the back

Of all the hotels I´ve stay in on three continents, this one ranks at the top! First time in Lisbon and first time at the Palacio. The facility was 5 stars but the personnel (from housekeeping (room and facility in general). reception, and the bar persons, were the cause of my added star. Friendly and for the most part, English-language proficient. Enjoyed being greeted after the first morning by the lady mopping the floor in Reception with a cheery Bom Dia! Breakfast buffet is quite fine. Huge and definitely worth the added cost.
Would for certain go back!

Room tip: Standard room is adequate for two persons. We were in Room 531 and it was just fine. AC was exceptional.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days in room 322, fantastic experience, big room, clean and well presented, no sign of any stains on the carpet in fact I would say it was new. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, on arrival the young lady who checked us in indicated on the street map places of interest and directions to the Metro, literally almost round the corner. Breakfast buffet was well organised plenty of hot and cold food with loads of choice. Great experience overall in a beautiful city, will be going back again to this hotel.

Well room sizes are great, staff were mostly helpful and courteous.

Breakfast was a pretty average buffet breakfast..

Downsides for us, we asked for an early check in so we could work with sleep/ feed times for our little one, even though these were confirmed it was not honoured. There were no complimentary water/ coffee/ fruit etc which you would expect with this level of hotel.

There was no consideration of apologising for the issues we faced on check in which I thought wasp retry poor. On being challenged they did concede in offering a free coffee ( which we had whilst waiting for our room)
