The square is huge with the statue of the king and the huge arch that leads up into the shopping area. A good place to people watch and enjoy the sun.

From a myriad of food - drink and shopping choices along with street performers and people watching this pedestrian promenade is a must.

This is definitely an area to check out when in Lisbon. We had fun walking up and down the Praca but definitely did not like the insane amount of tourists there! It was pretty overwhelming, considering they don't move, bump into you, and stop in the middle of the street.
