We found ourselves in Barreiro of an evening, and the menu here looked interesting, so we thought we'd give it a go.
Well - what a surprise!
Excellent, innovative food, beautifully cooked, presented and served - and at really very affordable prices for this level of cuisine.
Why, I hear you wondering, then, did you only give it 4 stars?
Well - I'm partial to a fine glass of wine - and to be sure this food was deserving of very fine wine. But the wine list was pretty small, and, on a very hot day, the reds were way too hot to drink. Upgrade the wine list and this is a no-brainer 5-star we'd hop on the ferry to eat at.
