It was a very bad experience to visit this hotel.
The reception staff were very unpolite and there was no help from them . All information is on portugise . The rooms are acceptable, but we had view to a parking place even we had ordered a seaview. Entrance to the Beach is closed by a fence. So you have to walk nearly 300 meters if you want to go to Beach. There is no chairs from hotel. You have to bring everything yourself .
The location is so far from the City,so a car ore a bus is nessary.
Breakfast is in the lower end ,and the wi fi had many breaks.
We will absolute not recommand this hotel to anybody.

Room Tip: Ask for seaview,If it is possible

The rooms look great and are clean. That said, the rest of the hotel needs renovation as well. Our stay was fine but I think there are better hotels around. The breakfast was really not done. So if you are given the chance dont add breakfast to your reservation. Thankfully in figueira da foz you can eat breakfast for a small price.
There is not really anything else to do close by. No excursions or anything like that. You should have a car or rent one so you can visit cities further away. I would not recommend this hotel.

Went on a tour with French friends. The hotel was clean but geared up for tours. Bar only seating for 20 people. No evening meals in restaurant unless you were with a tour. Head waiter was good but was let down by the rest of the staff. Breakfast was like a scum, coffee made in kitchen and poured into water boiler in restaurant. Hot food at breakfast was luke warm. Internet was poor could only get on early in morning or late at night. No sign of any senior management during our 6 night stay.

From the pictures on various websites, this hotel looked like the perfect destination for a short break. However, I have to say we were a little disappointed. On the positive side the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general and friendliness of the the few staff who were around couldn't be faulted, We had very spacious sea view rooms with a balcony where you could soak up the sun and listen to the roar of the Atlantic surf although there were no tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms.
The down side...unfortunately even though it was warm weather, because it was the "off" season the outside pool had been drained, the restaurant was closed and if you wanted anything from the bar you had to find someone on reception to serve you. The hotel was a bit like a ghost ship lacking staff, guests and atmosphere. The breakfast that was very good, with a large assortment of items which included fresh fruit, cereal, cold meats, cheeses, cooked food plus a chocolate fountain to accompany pancakes.
We had a look at the indoor pool which felt like a sauna and the gym but didn't use the facilities.
I would like to think that during the "high" season the hotel would have a much better feel to it.
Despite the negatives I would be happy too stay there again.

Room Tip: It is worth the extra money to have a sea view room with balcony

We had a fab view overlooking the ocean and pool.
Pool was good-sized, room quite large and looked new as well as bathroom.
Everything else fine except breakfast which was really poor. Bad coffee, even worse orange juice and poor selection of bread etc.
Sandy beach is just a short walk away from the hotel and location just outside the center. Price wise reasonable.

Room Tip: Sea view is beautiful
