This ancient small house has been totally reconstructed and refitted inside as transient accommodation. The location is as central within the old quarter of Loule as one possibly can be. Everything which can be done with the small structure to make it comfortable and useful has been done. For instance, there are lots and lots of available outlets for recharging electronics. The plumbing fixtures are entirely new, and there is plenty of hot water at all hours. The bed is excellent.
Do beware that to navigate within the small house, one constantly needs to traverse a flight of two stairs, each of the two stairs being approximately 12 inches tall. It caused us old people no difficulty, but if anyone is not limber it could be a problem. Also, the staircase to the sleeping loft (which we did not use) is quite steep and irregular. It may not be suitable for use by very small children.
On balance, this is as close to a perfect accommodation for a fit and healthy couple as one might ever want.
