Between a later-than-planned after-hours arrival and countless questions, it would have been easy for the staff to be fed up with us. Instead, they were completely charming and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we got the information and services we needed. The room was beautiful and even had its own private porch area, and the shower was AMAZING. The hotel is located conveniently between Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo, and both Ponta da Piedade and the city center were reasonably within walking distance. As our room did not have its own kitchenette, the breakfast was included in our stay, and it always had a wonderful variety of food and drinks. I will recommend this place to everyone I know and would love to come back some day!

This hotel is a group of four smaller buildings, and ranks high on quaint and cozy. It's family-owned, and the service was terrific. If you love big European breakfasts, you won't be disappointed. I love kids but I needed a quiet vacation and not an Embassy Suites weekend experience, and Dinis was just right with its "adults only" atmosphere. The front desk also found a one-day rental car for me for half the price that was quoted in town, and the service even came to pick me up at the hotel. A winner I can't wait to return to!

Room Tip: 23 was quiet with view of one of the pools and the city. There is a rooftop terrace above this floor.

We've been touring Portugal for the past 3 weeks, and Villas D. Dinis was our best find to date. After a warm greeting, the gentleman from reception asked us to follow him as we drove our car to our lodging, which was five minutes away. He helped us with our bags and then showed us where the breakfast room was located. Our building and room was immaculate; our room was far more generous than most offered in Europe, and was appointed with the little things that matter such as a quality make up mirror, good body cream, a coffee maker, a bureau for our belongings, plenty of space to hang clothing, as well as a small fridge.
The breakfast was very generous. We enjoyed the excellent espresso coffee as well as the other goodies included in the buffet.
Our room was minutes away from a beautiful walk along the dramatic headland with its colourful bluffs and sculpted grottoes and arches. There are a variety of trails through this sunlit scrubland.
My only concern about this area is that it is being loved to death! The fragile mudstone is rapidly eroding; hopefully, the municipality will install fences along a boardwalk to preserve this beautiful environment.

At walking distance from town (15 min). Super friendly host. The room was spacious. The shower worked perfect. We had breakfast a bit further in a different hotel, but that was extensive and delicious. Much value for money.

Room Tip: In winter book a room inside the house. In summer, outside.
