Just an amazing experience - adorable little restaurant - MAKE RESERVATIONS - well worth the hype.

The food, wine & ambiance are spectacular. Not to be missed.

Very warm and charming atmosphere in a tiny space. The proprietor was gracious and very helpful. Our meal was excellent.

We enjoyed meeting the owner, and having dinner here. We ate too much--portions are huge. We both ordered the steak--thinking it was OK to order two plates, one for each of us. The steak was delicious but definitely HUGE. We could have easily ordered one and shared. Fun evening!

This is a small family run restaurant with excellent food and a welcoming host. Miguel helps select your dishes and wine. Plan to make a reservation as it is a small place

Went for dinner having failed to get a table at another restaurant close by. Proprietor helpful in explaining the menu and with suggestions of what to try. We had the melted cheese with little pieces of toast to start and shared this as advised. We both had black pork which comes on a piece of slate with salad and potatoes. I think we had about 3 pieces of potato and the salad comprised of 3 pieces of baby gem lettuce and a few slices of tomato. Pork was lovely but I thought the accompaniments were a bit sparse even for those with a smaller appetite. We had a bottle of wine which was house wine and a bottle of water. The cost was 65 euros which is the most we ever had to pay for a meal in Portugal. As stated nice but expensive for what you get.
