Is a good place to visit on a wet day, it is quite out of the way so slightly hard to find but worth a visit. The displays are based on three floors but there is a lift and you get stations with free chocolate on the way round which is a bonus! You can also wait and see a chocolate making demonstration at the end. It is suitable for both adults and children and is quite educational

The ancient, mysterious history of chocolate up to present times is here. Start with a rich chocolate bar (included with admission cost) as you read and look at relics related to the magic of chocolate. And don’t miss the dark chocolate samples that are self-serve in three areas along the self tour!

We came across this as we were walking round Bruges and thought we’d give it a go. It was busy with a school trip of teenagers who just lounged on the stairs but once we were past it we did enjoy it. The chocolate demonstration was good and seeing what can be made from chocolate was worth the visit.

I’ve been to a few chocolate museums and pretty much know the story (no surprises). That said, this museum really had great displays and small chocolate discs to savor and compare with another chocolate disc (dark versus milk) or origin (dark chocolate from Columbia or Ecuador). There really is a difference! We were given a milk chocolate bar when we showed our museum pass (highly recommend the 3-day pass as it pays for itself on the first day!) Also received a .50 euro coupon to Choco-Jungle where we later had delicious waffles (with chocolate, of course!)

This is a lovely little museum just off the Grand place. €6 entrance for an adult. You get given a free chocolate wiith entrance and once in there are chocolate machines dotted about where up you can taste different types of chocolate. The museum is on three floors the stairs are pretty rickety so it's not wheelchair assessable. The museum tells the story of chocolate and the coco bean from start to finish.
There is also a free chocolate making demonstration lasting approx 10 minutes and again another free chocolate at the end. You can also book to do a making chocolate workshop
