Great ensuite room based approx 10 mins walk from the oldtown Markt. The room has usb ports as well as sockets which are brilliant as you can charge phones/tablets and use straightners/hair dryer at the same time. Towels are provided in the cupboard under the sink. Overall I had a brilliant time and would definitely stay again when I go back to Brugge :)

A great location hotel in the heart of Bruges. Average hotel with dated decor and slightly grubby with hairs found all around the bathroom. On entering and exiting the hotel we saw rats on numerous occasions, however this might be normal due to the large amount of canals.

dear, since 24 years we live in Bruges and never saw any rats! Very funny you saw plenty of them. When you booked the hotel you could see our "dated" decoration and still you reserved, yes it is dated but isn't that normal in a old house in a old place? As of the hairs you find i can asure you that the rooms are cleaned every day!

We stayed in this hotel on the way back to UK from our holiday after we had missed our channel tunnel train. We made the booking on the last minute therefore arrived hotel around 11.00pm. We booked a family room with breakfast assuming that the breakfast would be served by 7.00 am as the majority of the hotels do. But we were wrong. We were told by the owners that the breakfast was served by 8.00 am. We had to leave by then and kindly asked for the refund for the breakfast fees fro 3 people. The owners refused it saying that we should have booked a room without breakfast. We said that we are not too happy with it as there was no information on the website about the breakfast serving time. And the owner said that she wasn't happy that we arrived at 11.00 pm at night either. There was nothing mentioned on the website that the late arrivals are not welcome. And there was no one at the reception when we arrived but the owners left the room keys in an envelope in the reception and we entered the hotel using a code. So she wasn't troubled with our arrival at all. We felt terrible with the owners' hostility. I don't care how the hotel is, I felt that I wasn't welcomed so that matters me the most. I wouldn't recommend this hotel which put us off even Brugge as we were really upset by how we were treated in this hotel so we left the town immediately. Never again!!!

dear, once again; everything is mentioned on the website (that you should read before making a reservation)
check in before 22.00 o'clock, breakfast between 08.00 and 10.00 o'clock. Also on arrival you can see the hours of breakfast and with reservation you can pick with or without breakfast. In all the hotels breakfast is from 8.00 or even 8.30 served, exept the 4 star hotels (wich are a little bit more excpencieve).
We weren't rude at all, we just explaned everything but you were very upset that you had to pay the amount that you agreed on at reservation!

Very helpful owners, comfortable beds, good breakfasts, and a quiet neighbourhood very close to city centre. Nothing was too much trouble, particularly moving my mother-in-law down to a first floor room. Long discussions with the owners about the history of the building.
