We had an authentic experience in the hands of our enthusiastic and knowledgeable local guide, Pieterjan. He presented the history, architecture and culture of Bruges with charm, and kept us smiling despite the inevitable rain. A word of warning: it's called a walking tour for a reason, be prepared to keep up. You'll be glad you did!
A great overview of the city with great tips on restaurants and where to shop. Steve adds a lot of humor and kept it interesting.I only had a day, wish I had more time to spend in Bruges. Lovely city, lots to see.
This was an interesting and well-planned walking tour of Bruges with a good mix of local history, some cool tips regarding the local tourist attractions and some great references to locations used in the movie "In Bruges". Our guide, Ari, was informative and very helpful, and at no stage were there any pushy sales pitstops. Near the end of the tour, we went to the newly-opened Bruges beer museum where one could sample the local beers. A great way to finish the tour!
