We decided to stop in for a look and ended up staying for a few glasses of wine and some tapas. The owner was very chatty and had recently been to Australia which was good to hear about his experiences.

Highly recommended.

We were trying to get away from the madding crowd around the market centre of Bruges and stumbled across this hidden gem. Run by a young couple Evelyn and Frederick, it has a huge selection of wine. We had glasses of Robyn, a Belgium wine made in the Champagne tradition and a Kortier Gobin a white wine. Food was a selection of artisanal breads, charcuterie from the region, grilled vegetables with mozzarella (a delight!) and a collection of unusual but beautiful cheeses. A wonderful place, well lighted and tastefully decorated. Evelyn speaks good English and is a great host. Definitely one of the best eating/drinking places we have come across in Belgium. I would rerurn for sure. Do visit them.

We sat outside and had a nice bottle of wine with some snacks. It was a lovely place to sit and enjoy some wine recommended by the staff.
