Warm reception from the small hotel team, who were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and individually decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent served in nice surroundings. A lift serviced all floors.

My wife and I stayed in a Junior Suite for 4 nights in December. The room was large and spacious. It had an en suite with double sinks, WC, a large bath with over bath shower and heated towel rail. There was an HD flat screen TV in the room and two comfy chairs. It had a mini bar fridge and a fancy coffee maker.

It was well located, very close to most of the museum locations.

Our room had a view over the rooftops to the OLV and the Belfort tower.

We paid extra for breakfasts which were excellent, but not cheap.

We would definitely recommend it to others.

We booked through Expedia.

We stayed here 1 night (Saturday 24th September) with our friends. We came by motorbike (Harley's) so we had parking included in our stay and breakfast of course. The rooms were gorgeous. Very clean and the decor very pleasing. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable although having only one pillow was a bit low for me so the extra pillow in the wardrobe came in handy. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of pastries, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese with acceptable coffee, orange juice and if one wants to start early a Buck's Fizz is also available. It is a 'help yourself' breakfast so eat as much as you want. The hotel is a short stroll (5-10mins max) to main square where you'll find a selection of bars and restaurants. Prices are very fair considering we had Moules Marinade with a round of drinks. The little quirky side roads and picturesque views of the canal are just beautiful. On Sundays there are little markets dotted about too. To sum up the shops in Bruges, if you smoke, drink or have a love of chocolate, you definitely won't be disappointed. Having said that there are some dainty unique little shops too. I just couldn't get over how clean the buildings all looked considering they must have been standing there centuries. England (London especially) needs to take a leaf or a whole book!! An absolute amazing weekend from start to finish.

This hotel has had a beautiful refurbishment of a very high quality, it feels luxurious and expensive. We had a junior suite which was stunning, a huge bed, lovely new furniture and decor. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is the lack of shower, weirdly they have put a shower head over the bath but with no screen or curtain making it impossible to use as the water goes everywhere. You expect a shower in a suite. The common areas are sumptuous and the Art Deco bar is a sight to behold. Staff are very helpful, would definitely return. Lovely experience in a brilliant location.
