Simply brilliant , was so glad we decided to stay here, nice spot on the canal .Enjoyed a really lovely dinner.. oven baked cod .. delicious . Thought it was really nice to give us a free appetizer of broccoli soup and game pate while we were waiting on the starters. Barman was really friendly and helpfull and made us feel really welcome. Bar & restaurant nice with windows overlooking the canal with the cheeky ducks coming up to the window for some bread.
The barge was that lovely we just stayed on it and decided to sightsee bruge tomorrow . Great ..will be coming again .

Unique! Windows opened onto the canal, lots of fresh air! Wonderful host and bartender who gave us lots of info. Walking distane thru the park and downtown. Great place, great bar and wonderful breakfasts! Definitely a place to return to!

Room tip: Canal view

Very friendly and the morning breakfast is 'help yourself service' with more than enough choice of food and drink. The room was small but most importantly it was clean and comfortable. A nice change to your usual stay in hotel.

This is a quirky place to stay if you want something different. Room was clean and comfortable with a shower room. We lay in bed and watched the barges float passed our window. Breakfast was lovely. great variety of meats and breads. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a while ago on a biking trip round Europe. Decided to stay here again a few years later on the return leg of a business trip to Holland. The service was as good as I remember it. The downside is that you can't charge drinks to your room, and the staff are reluctant to take cards. Apart from that the rooms are a bit small but comfortable, still acceptable. You get 2 life jackets in your room. We stayed on the hottest 2 days in September and it would be nice if there was air-con, but a fan is supplied and the stay was great. Will definitely be going back.

Room tip: The ones on the far side of the boat look out over the canal.
