Very nice little hotel slightly out of the way of the main city. The location makes for a nice quiet stay and a nice short walk from the activities.
We stayed for 3 nights and paid €300 inc taxes, which I think is a bit expensive for what it is. We didn't eat in the restaurant, as it was a bit expensive for our needs, but they were quite happy for us to sit in at a table and have a few drinks one evening and the food looked very good. (We went to the barge next door where the food was simpler and cheaper but very nice and good value).
Service was polite and helpful stall times.
Key attractions were the quiet location but close enough to be a short walk into the city. Breakfast was generous and good quality and a good start to the day.
To improve it would be good to have tea/coffee making in the rooms (tea and coffee is expensive to buy on board) and while the plumbing worked OK it was a bit gurgly in the mornings. Last thing to be aware of, is this is a converted barge, so if you're on the ground floor, people moving around in the room above can be a bit noisy, but this was not a major problem for us.More
