Such a serene and beautiful place.Nothing beats the magic of nature that's nurtured with love. The ambiance of the place is just lovingly magical.

We walk through the Minnewater Park while on our way to the city center and am so glad we did. What a beautiful green gem of a park. If you have a few minutes to spare this gives you a chance to rest a bit from all the museums, shopping and churches. Be sure to take a while and watch the swans swimming along the canal.

The area is very popular with all the swans and the ducs on the water. This is also the place where the touristic coaches are making a stop to give the horses a rest and food and water. There are a lot of restaurants and also small shops selling lace. In summer it might happen someone is making lace in front of the shop.
On the bridge at the end you can make some very nice pictures with the belfry in the background. In the close neighborhood there is also the beguinage where you can make a quite stroll.

After tremendous walking, this area is good to relax as the natural beauty with soothe your eyes and body.
The castle and the lake complement each other making it a perfect attraction of Bruges.

Minnewater Lake is just a short walk from Brugge Railway station. It's a really nice area to walk around in or just sit and take in the scenery.

There's plenty to see so use it as a place to rest after all the walking around!
