Located so close to the city centre, this place was a convenient spot to start our day in Bruges.
It was a bright and rather warm day, so we had hoped to enjoy our breakfast on the terrace outside, but unfortunately they said it was impossible today (something about it needing a serious cleaning before lunch). Oh well, inside was also good.
Service was rather quick; we got a soft-boiled egg, choice between a large coffee or a hot chocolate, orange juice (from a bottle), a croissant and 2 buns each, plus three slices of ham and cheese.
It was OK, yet nothing too special. The staff was friendly, yet rather business-minded. Food and atmosphere were good, but it didn't make us want more... We'll try something else next time, mainly out of curiosity to see what more Bruges' mornings have to offer.
