This was our second visit to this restaurant and we enjoyed ur first so came back on our Xmas market visit. It didn't disappoint. we were greated very warmly and recognised from our summer visit. The food , service and wine were all excellent. This place is in a lovely location running alongside one of the main canals and only 5 mins walk from the main square. We will certainly go back on our next visit.

We had a romantic evening diner during our stay in Bruges. The food was delicious and the service friendly and informative.
The restaurant is located near the heart of Bruges at Den Dijver. Decoration is classic and stylish. Worth going

We recently visited the restaurant for the last night of our mini-moon and given the great online reviews we expected great things. We were swiftly seated and given our drinks and some lovely bread with dips and our order was taken pretty efficiently. All was going well until our mains.... An hour and 10 minutes after our starters were cleared the mains finally made an appearance. We were happy to have a relaxed evening but this seemed a little excessive particularly as another table who ordered after us were served before us. On questioning the delay no apology or explanation was given. Thankfully however the food was worth the wait, it was delicious but not sure if I would go back. Perhaps we were just unlucky?

I'm not going to beat about the bush here, this was quality food, sophisticated food and extremely tasty food. But it will reasonably cost you.

Me and my partner had bread with sauces on the table, a starter each (I had scallops and she had steak tartar), a main each (I had a fillet steak and she had the hare) and then we shared a pudding (cheesecake).

In addition to all the food, we also had a bottle of lovely red Sicilian wine, its was awesome!

The waitress was johnny on the spot with most things, even though she was the only one there, but she was really trying and constantly filling up our glass if we were low.

This is not a place for a loud bunch of people, it's a truly classy place and I loved it for that. It was our little treat and quiet time on the second night of our trip and, like I say, the food was outstanding. It's traditional and tranquil! You feel like you're being transported back a good few years.

All in all this cost us 140 euro with a tip, or bang on £100 at the time of writing this review. For two people with a gorgeous bottle of wine and 3 courses with bread on the table, that's not far off, especially considering how good the food was.

Moral of the story is ..... if you want quality food in Bruges and a quiet relaxing couple of hours out, come to Le Chef Et Moi!

I picked this restaurant as a surprise birthday dinner. I picked it solely based on all the reviews on here saying how special the atmosphere was. Well it wasn't . It was very meh, food was great, sure, but the service was nothing special. There was no personal touch, maybe we caught the lady on a bad evening, who knows .

Also just keep in mind that the menu is very limited, literally about 2 options for starters/main/dessert .
