The hotel is very centrally located. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was very ordinary but very pricey at 20 euros per person. Restaurant menu was very limited and pricey. Did not see any childrens menu as well. Rooms air conditioning did not work well and shower kept suddenly getting very hot. The coffee tea making facilities were not good as well. paper cups, and wood sticks to stir.

Nice hotel. Centrally located. Lovely staff and very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Only a short walk from the train station so easy to get to and also a short walk to the main square and market in Bruges.

Location is 10 minutes walk from train station and town centre in a quiet area. Clean, pleasant and welcoming reception, staff very helpful. Our room was a nice size (superior room) and well laid out and clean. Seperate loo and bath/shower. Temperature of shower could be tempramental so be careful! Kettle in room with tea and coffee albeit only two paper cups.
Breakfast is busy...there were a number of large parties staying when we were there. But turnover was quick, so we did not have to wait for a table. Choice of breakfast was good, fruit juices, coffee, tea , cerials, cold meats and cheeses plus hot buffet. We certainly did not go hungary. But the whole experience seemed poorly managed.
Plates too hot to pick up or totally cold adjacent to the hot buffet, cups and glasses chipped and only fit for the bin, when something ran out, had to ask staff to replace it rather than staff being proactive, coffee machine playing up and liquid on the floor under it, suppossedly hot food was at best luke warm one morning, and boiled eggs on our last morning had runny whites aswell as yokes!!
All of that said, this was our second stay and we will certainly stay again. But please, Novotel management, have a look at your breakfast offering and improve your service in this area.

friendly and efficient check in, nice large room, comfortable bed, hotel well placed for all the sights. great surprise at breakfast buffet, , huge choice, including full English, wafflles, cheese, large selection of baked goods , excellent coffee. efficient and friendly staff at all times.

This hotel was really a perfect choice for us. We spent 5 days seeing the sights in Brugge. The room price was attractive...about the same as the Ibis across the way. The room was spacious with a nice couch. The bathroom was fine, with good supply of hot water for the shower. Sparkling clean. Internet worked fine and was free. The common areas were attractive and the staff helpful. There is a supermarket across the street (and a refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold). Fine restaurants easy to find. The hotel is on a quiet street within walking distance of the train station (Belgian trains are efficient and cheap). The hotel is near several attractions and about two blocks south of the major museums.
