I would strongly recommend this hotel for a visit to Bruges. It is a short walk from the centre and also not too far from the railway station, either through the town or around along the canals.
The check-in was really easy and the staff were very welcoming. They chatted to us later at the bar and suggested some of the best places for us to visit during our stay.
The breakfast was very good, with a good range of hot and cold food, bread and pastries. It did end at 9:30, which is quite early if you've been out late, but staff were great and asked if we wanted any more anything before clearing away.

Booked interconnected rooms via Accor website at about €140 per night. If you've got younger children, there is a fold out sofa bed in room and the kids stay for free.
Rooms are comfy even if a little tired. Personally, I'd skip the €20 breakfast and head down the road to the bakers (turn left out of hotel and 100m on right) and get some fresh crossants to tuck into in the room.

There is 24 hour parking right next to the hotel which is cheaper than the on road parking. Price is about €9 per day.

Hotel has good facilities. We stay at Novotels reasonably frequently as they are quite child friendly. Service is generally in line with experienced at others.

Hotel is well placed for main attractions, with most a short walk away.

This is good hotel for families. They have family rooms for a decent price, breakfast is free for kids (with an adult) and a number of indoor and outdoor play spaces. The communal areas were nice and well kept.

Rooms a bit tired, but my main bugbear was with the staff. We stayed for the weekend and throughout our stay their take it or leave it attitude left much to be desired, both in the reception and in the restaurant. Every request seemed like too much bother.. e.g. on a Saturday evening the restaurant refused to sell any food except an overpriced 3 course set menu (with no choices) for valentine's day. This was the only food available via room service too. Accordingly, the restaurant was empty all night and we watched countless groups and families turned away.

Second time here - had the kids last time, just two adults this time. Room large, clean, 2 types of pillow and blackout curtains as expected from Novotel. TV had some English channels. Checkout late (12), front desk staff very helpful.

However - breakfast buffet expensive (€20 pp) when you've not got children with you eating for free. The heating wasn't up to the job in the room - fine in corridors, and once outside warmed up a bit in our room, but when it was chilly out the room didn't warm up much even on max temp and fan settings. Also our shower unpredictably tried to boil us then freeze us, interspersed with periods of being the right temperature. The bar had only 2 white wines available by the glass (I know - hard times!) but was open pretty much all the time. There was a bit of noise from doors banging in the mornings, but other than this not too aware of the other guests.
