Bit dated but pleasantly so...quaint decor. .excellent breakfast..10mins text drive to Brugge town centre.
Will definitely stay again..but always seems to be full at the times we want to book...could imagine this place as a location for a WW2 movie..authentic time piece from that period...we're going to the Menim Gate and WW1 battles sites in September so maybe we'll have better chance of a vacancy

We booked this lovely B&B for my wife's birthday and although the photos on the website looked good, the reality was even better. The room we had contained a 4 poster bed, period furniture and a wonderful view of the garden through stained glass windows. We also had the use of a little kitchen and a terrace over looking the canal. The memory of sipping a glass of wine and watching the canal bridge being lifted to allow a barge past through will remain with us for a long time. A delicious continental breakfast was provided each morning to set us up for the day. All in all, we couldn't have chosen a better location for our short break in Bruges.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for just two nights and wish we could have stayed longer!!
Located just opposite a canal, about five-ten minute cycle ride from the centre (or 30-40 minute walk) this bnb is lovely. Our room was very large with a gorgeous four poster bed, sink area, dining table and although it is quite old fashioned decor that's not really important!
The owner is very sweet, speaks good english and is very helpful - he lent us bikes for free to bike into town, and he drove us to the station on our last day. Breakfast was croissants and bread, and they will prepare it for whenever you would like it.
For the cost, this bnb is definitely worth a stop!! From the station, it's a half hour walk down the side of a canal which is lovely.

I would recommend!

Nice and clean but fairly basic accommodation.
Good breakfast with 3 types of bread/croissant, a couple of jams, butter, orange juice and coffee.
Hot water worked fine for us, just need to let it run until it reaches the correct temperature.
We had a great time exploring the city using the bikes on site during the day.
In the evening we took the local bus into Bruges (last one leaves around 8.30pm) and used the night bus to get back - departs near the market square - last bus around 10.30 during the week and 2am a weekend. The tourist information office has timetables and you can buy a 9 trip ticket for 9 euros from there too.
All in all, an excellent place to stay for the budget conscious traveller.

Room Tip: Not a room tip but.... It is cheaper to get a 9 trip ticket from the tourist info centre than to pay...

When we stayed here two daughters were running it while the parents were away, and both were absolute sweethearts. They made sure we had bikes to get into the city and we did get a little breakfast. The room was spacious and had extra blankets (I freeze regardless of the weather), although we had to be patient with the water temperature in the shower. It felt like what Bruges should be though; homey, cosy, historic.. it really was lovely. The bike ride into town was not long and a pleasant way to experience Bruges in a less touristy way.
