Thanks to trip advisor we walked in and discovered the amazing quaint little bar space along the river.
Well worth a visit... or two, three, four,or more

My partner and I stopped in along our lovely visit, and read we had to try their jenever shots. It didn't disappoint. With a huge list of flavours to test and taste, the older gentleman behind the bar was lovely and accompanying to help us English natives to some fine pre-gin shots. And the bar itself was so raw and original, it really felt like maybe it's where Jenever originated. Loved it.

I am absolutely in love in that place. Very tasty Jenever - the drink that was invented before gin. For all gin lovers this is must. But be careful it taste so good you might get drunk quite fast ;)

Amazing to learn Gin founded in Ghent and not in London.. A cozy and friendly little bar that i strongly suggest all visitors to pay a visit when in Ghent.. Never fail to visit each time i am in Ghent... Love this city

A tiny barlike space smelling like sugar offers a sickening range of “jenever”-shots. From hazelnut to candy, from apple to liquorish.
Great way to get the party started!

We visited here on Saturday and tasted lots of flavours. I highly recommend not trying the chilli one as my boyfriend and his friend discovered it’s VERY hot. The gentleman behind the bar did warn them and gave them a tiny taster and they actually looked like they were going to combust haha he then offered them a coconut one to cool it down (free of charge) We had around 10 shots between us and the pina colada was my personal favourite. I would return again if we went to Gent. It’s a great tiny pub
