We always stay here when we visit Ghent, which is usually around 4 times each year. It is a lovely hotel to stay at. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. There is actually an outdoor swimming pool there which has to be a first. Lovely courtyard to sit in in the good weather and have a drink. The bar area is very nice with reasonably priced drinks. Although we did not eat there the food looked very good. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms have very good showers. Best of all is the situation, it is very central. Secure parking underneath but would recommend booking. We love it.

So 80 euros charged to my bill, to see if I noticed? It is "policy" at this hotel to put those charges on "guests" bills and "remove them on checkout". Huh? Policy? The "our guests are suckers" policy? The "let the buyer beware" policy? The "policy of unauthorized charges"? Really?? Also, as an Accor hotels member, calling down to have unauthorized charges removed defeats the "fast checkout" concept. I'm sticking with the belief of this hotel that they subscribe to the "our guests are suckers" policy.

All the comforts and standards of a Novotel. Very centrally located, close to all the shops and restaurants and well as the main churches and cathedral. Ideal for exploring Gent.

Has a bar which does food. I didn’t take breakfast but it is available. Very safety aware as key card is required to operate the lifts. Had a bit of trouble with the key cards and had to be replaced several times.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

This hotel was in the perfect location for us while staying in Ghent as we were only here for the night so wanted to be bang in the city centre. The room was large but in need of a little fresh up which i believe will be happening soon but wasn't in our room. The staff where friendly and helpful and directed us to the places we were visiting.
