Description: The Comics Cafe is an incredible 200 seats Brasserie-type restaurant where one can enjoy tasty Belgium and American Cuisine up to midnight. In a warm Comic-like atmosphere, you will discover the "COMICS Burger", the "CARBONNADE FLAMMANDE", the delicious strawberry Cheese cake and a lot more. Nice "Terrasse" on Grand Sablon, historic center of Brussel. Famous "TINTIN" statue at the entrance.

Had a delicious lunch here. The food was great, the service was great and the view from the outdoor seats was good. Try the Flemish stew, it's fab!

This is a fun cafe, decorated with Tintin posters, some signed by Herge himself. There is also a life sized bronze statue of Tintin upstairs which is great for photos. The food was very tasty and reasonable priced. I would definitely return, given the opportunity.

We are a family of 5 adults and 3kids whom chanced upon this cafe while sightseeing in the area. We were one of the first customers at 12pm so the friendly waitress brought my son around the whole cafe for a visit. We ordered 5 main courses ( beef stew which was yummy, caesar salad which was too dry, croquette which was average, cheese burger and salmon pasta) for the adults to share with kids. Our kids were 2 and 5yrs old and dont have a hearty appetite. The waiter didnt seemed too pleased with our orders. Gradually the cafe filled up with tour groups ard 1pm and the waiter keep coming up to clear our table. ( subtle hint for us to leave although my son was still eating).
Overall, was novel experience but i dont think we will be back.a couple of hits and misses

We went here early evening and had a great meal. I had the bacon cheeseburger, my boyfriend the bacon bagle. The burger really was the best one i ever had. My boyfriend liked his bagle but didnt love it. Its a bit pricey but id go there again to try another burger! As others have said, burgers and sidedishes are for the hungry. Large portions but all fresh and delicious.

Perfectly located in an area full of posh restaurants and chocolate shops - an actual taste if Brussels pop-culture :-)
The restaurant is built into a set if old buildings connected through walls, with different floor and ceiling levels, one of them a former gothic (?) chappel... You get an unique blend of styles and tastes with the stone and brick walls, wooden ceilings, stained-glass windows all decorated with famous comics graphics and scetches.
Very-Brussels :-)
The cheeseburger is recommendable, make sure you top your fries with the proper Belgian mayonaise.
Skip dessert - costs 10 eur, but not worth it.
