Description: The Comics Cafe is an incredible 200 seats Brasserie-type restaurant where one can enjoy tasty Belgium and American Cuisine up to midnight. In a warm Comic-like atmosphere, you will discover the "COMICS Burger", the "CARBONNADE FLAMMANDE", the delicious strawberry Cheese cake and a lot more. Nice "Terrasse" on Grand Sablon, historic center of Brussel. Famous "TINTIN" statue at the entrance.

We went here early evening and had a great meal. I had the bacon cheeseburger, my boyfriend the bacon bagle. The burger really was the best one i ever had. My boyfriend liked his bagle but didnt love it. Its a bit pricey but id go there again to try another burger! As others have said, burgers and sidedishes are for the hungry. Large portions but all fresh and delicious.

Thank Patti B

Perfectly located in an area full of posh restaurants and chocolate shops - an actual taste if Brussels pop-culture :-)
The restaurant is built into a set if old buildings connected through walls, with different floor and ceiling levels, one of them a former gothic (?) chappel... You get an unique blend of styles and tastes with the stone and brick walls, wooden ceilings, stained-glass windows all decorated with famous comics graphics and scetches.
Very-Brussels :-)
The cheeseburger is recommendable, make sure you top your fries with the proper Belgian mayonaise.
Skip dessert - costs 10 eur, but not worth it.

Claim to have the best burgers in town but not bothered to serve me mid evening. So went to skievelat as long restaurant down the road that probably had the second best burgers in Brussels.

Many comics memorabilia including statues, although the meals didn't have comic themes they were still tasty, prices are similar to other places in Belgium.

We stopped here for lunch while in Grand Sablon and wasn't disappointed. We had the chicken burger - very good - and the salad - also very good. The decor was cool especially if you are into Tin Tin! Stop by you won't go wrong.
