Description: The Comics Cafe is an incredible 200 seats Brasserie-type restaurant where one can enjoy tasty Belgium and American Cuisine up to midnight. In a warm Comic-like atmosphere, you will discover the "COMICS Burger", the "CARBONNADE FLAMMANDE", the delicious strawberry Cheese cake and a lot more. Nice "Terrasse" on Grand Sablon, historic center of Brussel. Famous "TINTIN" statue at the entrance.

We stopped here for lunch while in Grand Sablon and wasn't disappointed. We had the chicken burger - very good - and the salad - also very good. The decor was cool especially if you are into Tin Tin! Stop by you won't go wrong.

Relaxed atmosphere- menu written on chalkboard, can grab a few comocs to read. Nice food - all the basics are there. Some surprisingly good fare- pizzas are great, I love the Dutch croquettens. The service is pleasant and fast. Great for a lazy brunch.

Somewhat surprised by the poor recent reviews. I've regularly travel to Brussels and have been to the Comics Café four or five times and have never been disappointed. The service has always been fine, even when a large party were in. Of course they specialise in Burgers, and there are alternatives but the rest of the menu is rather limited. However the burgers are great, so if you're going there why go for anything else. They also have a good beer selection. I will be going back again next week!

We were strolling about on a Saturday looking for somewhere to have lunch and were drawn to the restaurant by the name and decor: the place is decorated with comic illustrations which is fun.. We thought we would give it a go as it looked different. It's a bit cramped upstairs but the service was fine, the food came quickly enough and was enjoyable.

The spiral staircase is a bit of a struggle, and two of the three loos in the basement for some reason are allocated to men and only one to women - but as they are all in the same place everybody ignored the signs.

The downside to eating there is the price - it is on the expensive side (but then Brussels is pricey all round). A nice enough visit for the novelty, but without the comics theme it would I think be rather ordinary; as the place was busy it must be effective.

Dropped in for quick lunch purely by accident. Was not expecting much ,, seated quickly, served quickly and food turned up quickly. The menu has burgers only. I went for the Obama , husband had a chicken burger. Mine was amazing.. Overindulgent but wow was it good. Husband chicken pretty uninspiring in comparison. I would say at 20 euro that's on the expensive side but I throughly enjoyed.
