Low quality food. The patron served with black fingernails. Tourist trap. Do Not Go There. I do not even have the required 100 words. I ate a quarter of the moules. The fries must have been cooked at least twice. Lucky I did not have the chicken, which was served the next table and looked awful...

Had nice beer and great moules and beef. The owner was a laugh, too. Great value for money and atmosphere

We were in Le Dorat on a Monday walking around and taking in the sights. We saw this little restaurant/pub and thought wgat a quaint little pkave and had a look inside.
The bar was in the front part and the restaurant was set inside a cavern in the rock face. This was cool storage for the castle many years ago but now a wonderful setting for a meal and entertainment. The owners are expat brits and have really done a great job with the decor and the food was delicious and well priced. We chatted continually with the owners who were friendly and helpful with local information.

Lured in by the €10 and €12.50 menu outside. Neither of these menus were offered to us at the table, we were just left with the €18 menu and the a la carte menu. After asking 3 times we finally had the cheaper menus. Food was very very average. Cheap cheese and lots of oil in the meals. Charged €4 for a tiny glass of Fanta poured out of a large bottle. Rip off.
