Simple, unpretentious and reasonably priced Belgian restaurant on the Place de la Sablon. Accommodating service.

We stopped here for lunch. I picked the Caesar Salad and my partner went for the Blue Cheese one (both at 13 euro's) . The Caesar Salad had well seasoned chicken, thin slices of old cheese and a nice balsamic dressing on top of the lettuce. The salad itself was very good and large, the bread that came with it was a bit old though..

For us this was the right restaurant at the right time and we're happy we've eaten here.

Go here for something especially delicious and French! The salmon was to die for as well as a good selection of beers, wine and spirits. Dessert was also great.

Well placed brasserie just off Sablon Square. Tables crammed together but not busy -9.30pm. Service brisk and impersonal. Our waitress was more interested in her phone than the customers. Carafe wine was acceptable. The steaks were good but seemed young enough to be classified as veal. The duck was reheated and had a "standard" sauce poured over, not cooked together. The Singapore fried noodles were copious, very "al dente" (undercooked), nicely flavoured and I could find 5 tiny pieces of meat in a dish said to contain "prawns, pork and beef" The highlight of the meal was being told "there are no desserts left" when we tried to order at around 1030!!!! The disinterested waitress obviously had a hot date later on and wanted to close up.
