Liking bars that are a little out of the ordinary, and liking rock/metal, we sought out this place after seeing it mentioned on Trip Advisor. The passageway you walk down to reach the bar smells a bit, which is not the best welcome, but sadly pretty typical for rock bars, but it’s ok once you get inside, and once there you’ve got coffin tables, skeletons, skull mugs and lots of macabre sounding cocktails and gothic decor to keep you amused, as well as lots of strong beer, and good music. It was a bit of a quiet night when we visited, so not much of a buzz, but it definitely worth a visit for the quirky decor and some good music.

My friend and I found this place by accident, just a minute away from Grand Place and boy were we happy! Dark and playing all of our favourite rock music, with a great selection of cocktails. Cash only though, people!!

A creepy little place just of grand place, tables are coffins, drinks are named after dead things. Very small inside but definitely worth a visit. Loved the music and atmosphere

Though Le Cercueil boasts a wide selection of beer and a must-see venue, it was a lot more fun in the 90s when they played Gregorian chants as music. Now it is more of a hipster place, but the skull mugs, coffin tables and black lighting are still fun and a unique experience. Off the beaten path....
