Au Brasseur is a great beer bar that on any holiday my twin brother Stephen and I take to this vibrant city we always make a point of visiting as the beer range here is exceptionally good and the bar is always packed. This is one exceptionally good beer bar, walking in and you know your in a proper bar, painted Delirium Tremons pink elephants are on the ceiling and the walls are festooned with all manner of beer poster's and enamels, the serving bar looks cool and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this wonderful bar but they fill up quick and tend to stay occupied such is the great atmosphere of this bar,a bar I may add that on every one of my visits which have been plentiful is always a fun place to go.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a early Wednesday afternoon and this bar was unsurprisingly full with a great atmosphere ,to start our visit here we opted to start with a light and hoppy Jupiler beer each and these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out by the bar as it was standing room only and enjoyed our beers and a big bowl of salted peanuts which were given with our beer and were must appreciated.
After our first beers my twin brother and I decided to go for a 6 beer flight of beers to split between us,we let the really pleasant bar staff member serving us choose all our beers but could we have 2 fruit beers on our flight of beers.
The beers we got were superb, the selection we got was fantastic and all the beers were outstanding good,we could not fault any of the 3 beers each we sampled.
We moved on after our delicious beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time .
Au Brasseur is really easy to locate ,it's a very short stroll to Grand Place ( Grote Markt ) and is found on Rue De Chapeliers in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
A great beer bar in a fantastic location and well worth checking out.

We entered the bar about 6pm and already there was live music and people dancing so we had good vibes of the place
Drinks are reasonably priced and the music is loud and upbeat although there is wearing outside under heaters for those wanting a quiet drink or a smoke.
We had a lot of fun

We had been walking around the city for a good 2 hours and felt the desire to sit down for a while and have a drink. We noticed this pub, it looked warm and inviting, it was cosy playing music loud and people were singing, there was a fantastic selection of beers and spirits. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend. It had a good atmosphere ! Happy New year all 2017/2018 :D

Service horrible from the waiter inside and outside.
We ordered triple karmeliet on tap. It comes without gas.

The beer tasting platters are an ideal way to sample beers as strong as the classic belgian ales served here. Lively and vibrant with good service.

Quaint little bar which gets very busy. We were lucky to grab a table and try a selection of beers which were all delicious. Metres from the Grand Place, very popular
