The setting makes you think of a cosy warm mansion. Probably the style the interior shop Flamant stands for. The dark colors with the chandeliers make it really cosy.
Every time I've been there to eat, the food was good. Don't expect kitchen to be on Michelin star level but it is a fair and good kitchen but Flamant doesn't pretend like so many other restaurants to be that level. Portions are, for an average person, more than sufficient. I ordered the wine arrangement and wine was served more than average. The only bizar thing was that staff started to serve red wine with the main course while this was fish and nothing in that course hinted to red wine. On a simple request the staff kept serving white to the fish.
Only negative point was that it took quite long in between courses.
