Small basic hotel but clean and warm.
Some of our group had cash and aftershave stolen from their rooms while we were out so bear that in mind and dont leave any valuables.
Basic continental breakfast available for €9.50 but it fills a corner.
Close to restaraunts and bars and opposite the railway station.

Had a 1 night stay for a gig in Antwerp, so only needed somewhere to sleep for the night, with easy connections.
Located literally steps from Central station, with taxis lined up (at very good prices) on the doorstep, plus cafes etc on hand, which was useful as I'd forgotten that a kettle in the room isn't standard in Europe.
The man on Reception was very friendly and accomodating...we paid a little extra for early check-in (9.15am) as we had had such an early start, so was great to be able to get our heads down for a while.
The room was clean and spacious, if no-frills,and had good wifi, and, although the bar/restauarant wasn't open all hours, the chap on Reception did call them to allow me to get a mid-morning coffee (free), which was appreciated.
All in all, it was ideal for what we needed and would certainly use again if in Antwerp for a night.

The hotel is in front of the Central Station of Antwerp. Its location is perfect and very close to the main attractions. Taxis and bike rentals are just in front. The rooms are quite big but simple. The windows don't open fully and the shower bath is a bit small. In the reception area and corridors there was a bad smell. This hotel has a great location and is cheap compared to others but is not a very pleasant hotel to stay in.

Classified as a 3-star hotel, but rather with 2-star comfort. The room was big and in principle clean, but with simple furniture. The chairs were shaking and at the brink of breaking. Mattresses small and soft – they probably have seen already a lot of customers. The carpet was old and with stains. The windows have ventilation slits on top, which cannot be fully closed. Consequence: Beside a constant air inflow you will hear very well the noise from the street. By the way, you also hear well the neighbors. Thin walls.
The bathroom was smelling bad. No heating in the bathroom. The shower was extremely difficult to adjust – it is likely that you end up either having a cold or a boiling hot shower. The shower screen does not prevent water flowing to the floor – unavoidable to flood the bathroom. The mirror in the bathroom is right from the sink to make shaving more challenging. Don't expect a hair dryer or other useful items in the room.
The breakfast for 12 Euros turned out to be simple and of very basic quality. You will have to compete with other customers for everything. But to be fair, service brought from time to time new stuff.
The hotel is directly adjacent to the main train station. Not my preferred area.
Price was much too high for what they offer.
