We dined at a place with the same concept in Amsterdam: basically it is a giant food hall, with lots of different menu types (Mexican, Vietnamese, Pizza, etc.) offered by small vendors The seating is communal, and there is a bar in the center for drinks. The repurposed old building is beautiful and makes for a fun dining experience. Coffee & desserts available as well.

Mercado really exceded our expectations! We went here for lunch and it was really nice that you had so many different options to choose from from many different cuisines! We bought food from some different restaurants and we were all very happy about the food. Really nice atmosphere and great customer service!

There are several places in Europe with this kind of concept and we really like this. In the mercado you will find lost of different food stands with all kinds of tastes from the world. The stands don't offer a loads of different foods on there menu because the working area is not that big and they mostly work with fresh products. But there are enough food stands so you won't be leaving this place hungry. Unless you legt your money home :-s.
In the middle of the Mercado there is a bar for normal drinks and a separate cocktailbar where you have to order/pay to get your drink. Some bartenders that go around would also be nice. The tables are cleaned very often.

After de muze I was heading home starving on my eye for some place to eat! And then I found Mercado! Amazing place! Great and well organised food hall where u can choose between cuisines from different countries! there is a huge seating in the middle where u can find a place to comfortably sit and enjoy ur food. That night there were 2 guys DJing in old style! Without a computer and using vinyl disks. I thought it was amazing!!!!
