We fell in love with the quirkiness of this hotel. The paintings on the walls, the statues of cows and goats on the balconies, the glass elevator were all charming. The themed room we were staying in made us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. It was definitely one of a kind. Everything was set-up to make us comfortable – it just wasn’t always easy to figure out how to make things work. That is not mean to be a complaint; it was part of the charm. However, the service was also more charming than efficient, making it a little too laid back for our taste. For example, one night as we came back after dinner we waited a looong time to get our key from the desk clerk who was also responsible for making drinks in the lounge. And while the breakfast room was technically open at the time advertised (8:00), it seems as if that time was when they starting setting things up, not the time breakfast was ready. On one morning it took about another 20 minutes for the coffee to be ready to be served. Overall it was a fun stay – just be aware that some patience will be required.

Room Tip: Pay whatever premium is necessary for a themed room -- it will be worth it!

An ideal location within walking distance of all you would want in Delft. All the rooms are themed and have a character of their own. Breakfast is great and the service good. All rooms have there own theme and décor in a quiet square and there own private carpark.

Room Tip: There are some premium rooms worth the extra

We loved staying at this lovely hotel in Delft. We stayed in the Mexican themed room which was very bright and cheery. Loved the Mexican sinks and tiles. It had a beautiful quiet bar with lovely service from local university students. Would definitely return.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and charming decoration. They give a voucher to have a drink at the bar. The bed was good, no big luxuries, but I slept like a baby. And the decoration is sort of quaint but I liked it also. Perfect place, very close to the railway station.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city and has free parking spaces! The interior of the dining room is wonderfull and breakfast is very tasty. We had a theme room (de vaarboom) wich was lovely decorated. Our bed was ment to be a boat and the walls were painted with vieuws from the water. We had a wonderfull night here.
The only downpoint was the fact that our room came out in the stairway hall. Because of that we had a lot of noise at night of people climbing the stairs and talking.

Room Tip: Ask a room that is away from the staircase

Lovely to hear you had a wonderful night in your room. How unfortunate to hear you were disturbed due to noises in the hallway. We will solve this problem for future guests!
