I've spontaneously spent a weekend with 3 friends by George in Vlissingen.
The house is gorgeous, from the outside as well as from the inside. It's furnished beatifully, so you can feel yourself at home, but you have a lot of room for your things. You won't really want to go out every night, because the place is so nice, very comfortable for board games or just chilling with a bottle of wine.
The garden is also cool, we'll definitely come back in the summer!
George knows what a foreigner needs, he knows the town very well and has every kind of pamphlets abouts the things worth seeing. He gives good advice about these if you'd like him to. And he's very cool with check-in times too!
It's surely worth a while to look around the town, the houses in the little streets downtown are beautiful. There are many small shops worth looking into.
The sea is only a few minutes away, then you can wander about for hours on the shore (it's probably full with tourists in the summer, but hey, you're a tourist too, aren't you?)
+ if you like birds, there are many oystercathers and knots (yes, it's the name of a bird too) and of course the seagulls as well
