Stayed here for 3 nights and had amazing experience to see Dutch hospitality at it's best. Ofcourse it's a boutique hotel so lot of things come customized and personalised. Rooms are quite spacious and cozy, breakfast is a nice spread served on your table. Staff is nice and very helpful and lovely place to have couple of drinks in the bar on evenings. Since it was peak summer, room was getting little hot and had to request for a portable fan otherwise hotel is fresh and nice experience, surely recommended and will stay again. Location deserves a special mention since it's right in center of middleburg and stones throw away from town hall, had a nice stay.

Good business or personal choice when in the area. Nice location with walking distance to range of restaurants and parking close by. Friendly efficient service. Hot tub and sauna available too! Recommended.

Excellent hotel in the center of Middelburg. The hotel is in a historic building, but with all new/modern rooms. Excellent stay. And the breakfast was WONDERFUL: we sat in the garden, and BF was served at the table, all with excellent ingredients. Highly recommended!!!
Parking is available nearby (paid parking).

A wonderful village to take time to explore using The Roosevelt as your base. Excellent breakfast with which to start your day, comfortable beds in which to rest. Some things to consider when choosing this location: nearby parking is metered and for only 2 hours. There are other longer stay parking areas just a 10 minute walk away. If you have mobility issues, let the staff know so that you can have appropriate accomodations, the loft bedroom we had would not be suitable for some. The bell tower rings often ;-) we didn't mind because it added to the ambiance. Enjoy your stay at The Roosevelt, we highly recommend it.

The hotel is extremely conveniently located right in the center of Middelburg. It has been an old office and bank building and some remnants still remind of those days.
The rooms are interesting and pretty individual. We stayed in a small suite over 2 different levels.
A fantastic breakfast is included in the price and it‘s being served at the table- hence no buffet anywhere.
Staff is great, friendly and extremely assisting.
Elderly people should be careful as not all rooms are ideal for elderly people.
The a/c is very modern and hidden behind a piece of art - but seems to have the occasional problem.
Overall, a great location and really recommendable!
