We've recently returned from a two-night stay at this hotel after being wowed by it's exterior online. We booked a Craft Deluxe room which was perhaps a bit more basic than we were expecting, but was perfectly clean and comfortable for a short break. The bathroom was a great size with a separate shower and luxury fittings.
We left our suitcases at the hotel as we arrived too early to check in, but when we returned to the hotel later that afternoon, my suitcase was missing. It had been mistakenly taken by another guest who had already checked out and was halfway to Brussels!
The hotel staff were extremely apologetic and gave me some money immediately so that I could buy a few essentials for the night whilst they tried to locate my case. They also offered us a free drink in the bar, dinner and drinks in their restaurant and a free breakfast the following morning. They also pulled out all the stops and managed to get my case back that same evening, with a member of staff collecting it from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
I was initially upset and disappointed with the hotel and was worried that this incident would ruin our stay, as I only had the clothes I was wearing and nothing else. But by their reaction to my missing case, I could tell this was an isolated incident and I can't fault way they dealt with the issue. Every member of staff we encountered were lovely and so we would stay at the hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.
As a side note, we hadn't booked the buffet breakfast but was told it was around €17 per person. After having the complimentary breakfast on the first morning, we felt that this was quite overpriced for the limited selection available. We decided to get breakfast in Amsterdam the following morning as there was so much choice at a much more affordable price.

Good looking hotel where everything basically is in order: friendly personal, clean rooms, bar/restaurant, good location.
However as other reviewers mentioned, the quality of the beds are not that great, breakfast is a bit sober/simple (not much choice), restaurant area is quite small. Rooms are minimalist and feel a bit cold.

We are leaving today after a long weekend visit with friends. An amazing hotel and location to stay at, a train ride away from the centre.
The hotel is beautiful, comfortable with modern rooms, excellent food in the restaurants, also offering a lovely breakfast. The staff are amazing and very friendly. We felt like locals with the staff remembering our drinks and the general chat and jokes. We loved the personal touch.
It took a long while to find the perfect hotel for our stay but we’re so happy with this choice and would definitely return. The staff are a credit to the hotel - 5* service.

Stayed for a weekend with friends in September, booked a Factory Design room as the upgrade charge was minimal. Room was lovely, bathroom was enormous, perhaps at the expense of the bedroom, but it didn't really bother us as we didn't spend too much time there.
Hotel breakfast was a little on the pricey side we felt, but it was a convenient option and there was a good selection.
Drinks in the bar were as you would expect from a hotel, the atmosphere was good, staff were pleasant.
Reception was efficient and we were able to leave luggage while waiting for our room and after checkout.
Hotel is very conveniently located a 2 minute walk to the station, trains are regular and reliable and cheap to both Schipol and Amsterdam Centraal, i don't think we waited more than 15 minutes for any train all weekend. There are also lots of shops and bars and restaurants within about a 10 minute walk of the hotel.
This hotel is a perfect choice if you want to visit Amsterdam without the hustle and bustle (and cost) of staying right in the centre.

This hotels caters for conferences and as such it's comfortable and basic. Everything is serviceable but there's no feeling of luxury which I had hoped for after viewing the outside of the hotel (which is impressive!) Rooms are clean and adequate and the breakfast is tasty. The pillows in the room are huge and I found them incredibly uncomfortable. The pool is quite small and the gym area is very basic (just 4 pieces of equipment). There is a high turnover of guests here (most people coming in for conferences and staying one or two nights). The surrounding area has lots of shops and cheap restaurants/takeaways.
