We found the "Family" Brasserie by chance. So happy we did. The restaurant was very busy the first night being the King's birthday. We were greeted by a very nice waitress who found us a table even though the restaurant was full. A good variety on the menu. Food(Burger and Chicken) arrived very quickly, nicely presented delicious and hot. Atmosphere that night was excellent. It was so pleasant that we decided to go a second night. A little quieter but just as nice. The "ribs" were incredible and the stir fry very tasty. If you are in the area of Keukenhof/Lisse this place is definitely worth a visit.

Chanced upon this little "all in one" cafeteria as we were going to Keukenhof, and stopped in Lisse for a quick bite.

This cafe is a snack-bar in itself, we see they have a full (quite complete) menu which we ordered from and they are also a pizzaria! Woah! Truly a family cafe! everyone would be able to pick something they prefer..

I had the uitsmijter and it was seriously one of the best we've had so far! the mushroom soup was also delish, club sandwich and broodje kroquette was v good!

Service was amazing too! Top! I am surprised they are not higher up in rankings but I guess its just a little neighborhood cafe, so not many reviews :)

We came across this restaurant as we were exploring Lisse and looking for a place to dine. The food was excellent. They offered colored pencils and paper for our 5 year old to use and entertain her. The atmosphere was wonderful. My only complaint is that the staff didn't seem to thrilled to be dealing with Americans.

My husband had the ribeye steak, and was thrilled with it. I had the pesto grilled chicken pasta, and it was excellent. They even made our 5 year old a simple ham sandwich, which she requested, despite it not being on the menu.

We ended our meal with some gelato from the other side of the restaurant, and it was also delicious.

Our party of 6 recently enjoyed dinner at this restaurant located in the centre of Lisse. There are 2 eating areas to enjoy; one is outside on the terrace; one is indoors in a lovely dining room with dark wooden tables and comfortable chairs. There are also a few booths in this area.

Our party ordered several different items from the extensive menu including the Chicken Satay, the Pork Satay and the Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce. All items included a fresh salad and choice of french fries or oven roasted potatoes. The portion sizes for the meals were quite generous and all were delicious !!! There were several items on the dessert menu that looked enticing but we had no room left for dessert. Our bill for 6 people including wine, beer and tip came to about 100 Euro's.
