We booked our timed tickets before leaving home and walked in when our name was called. A very touching message of human kindness and forgiveness. Our guide was excellent in the details of the ten Boom family and their ministry to Jews in World War 11. Recommend this one hour tour to all.

We didn't know the impact this brave family had on WW II. This was a very impressive story about what one family did to fight the Nazis and help the Jewish families in their community. You visit the rooms where the families hid and learn the story of Corrie ten Boom and her family - before, during and after the war. As an added plus, the town of Haarlem was a nice respite from our visit to Amsterdam. It was quite relaxing sitting in the town square at a cafe.

A well done though somber experience. The museum uses multiple mediums to convey the experience of those in hiding from the Nazis.

In this little house in Harlem, The Netherlands, we got to witness a home where Corrie ten Boom hid an saved countless Jewish people during the Nazi takeover of the Netherlands. Our little tour guide is amazing. She brought the story to life, telling intimate details of the life and courage of Corrie and her family. We got to see the actual bedroom behind which people hid, and the manner in which they scurried up to their hiding place. The tour restored our faith in humanity.

Firstly I recommend booking online in advance (make sure you take note that some of the tours are in Dutch and some are in English when booking), because you are guaranteed a spot.

This was an incredible experience, and such an inspiring story to hear and to witness with your own eyes. All the guides are incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate to be telling this story, and making sure the ten Boom legacy lives on. Very surreal to walk through this house where so much hope was given to so many, and to see where the hiding place was. I highly recommend adding this to your trip if you are anywhere close by, you will not regret it.
