Stayed 2 nights as part of post-cruise package. So did not pay directly for room nor included breakfast. Cannot comment on the value of them although breakfast has quite a lot of varieties.

Room as mentioned by others on smallish side. No where to lay out luggages except on the bed. Small closet for hanging clothes. Bed is comfortable. Bathtub has very deep tub which makes climbing in and out treacherous. Shower is great. A/C outlet is European standard, make sure bring adapter.

Free internet (half hour) in the lobby only - just get pass code from front desk. Location is walking distance to several major museums. Tram 2 and 5 will pass Dam Square and arriving Centraal Station in 15-20 minutes. There are many shops and restaurants just over the bridge about 5 minutes walk. Marriott Hotel is just next door.

Service overall is attentive at the front desk.

My husband and I stayed at the NH Amsterdam Centre for three nights in May. You can take tram line 1 from the train station to the Stadhouderskade stop and it stops directly in front of the hotel. You can also take the 2 or 5 tram line to Leidseplein. It's a short 1-2 minute walk to the hotel from there. The tram ride from the train station to the hotel is about 15-20 minutes. I definitely recommend taking the tram versus taking a taxi to the hotel. It's significantly cheaper and it's a great way to see the sights!

The room was small, but for European standards this was normal. The room was very nice and well kept. The front desk staff were very friendly. They even helped us look up online tickets to the Ann Frank House, which was very helpful!

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Vondel Park. It's just across the canal from Leidseplein. You can walk to all the other big sights within 20 minutes. Our favorite neighborhoods were the Jordaan and De Pijp, so definitely take some time to walk around those areas!

We bid for this hotel on Priceline and got a fantastic deal. I would definitely stay here again.

I love the location of the hotel, close to the Leidse Square, the Rijsmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum in the heart of Amsterdam. Unfortunately the hotel is beginning to look tired, the beds too soft, the carpet in the corridors dirty etc etc.

They also make far to much use of interns in the hotel, bringing the service level down.

well, got this hotel as a result of bidding on priceline. was hoping for movenpick but got this and thought it might be ok to try another location on our second stay in amsterdam. firstly, this cant be a 4* hotel, its looks more like a 3*or even a lodge. the rooms are tiny, we barely had place to step after putting our bags in the room. warning to families- dont even risk bidding in the 4* category on priceline as this place seems to be their most popular handout and it surely cant fit more than 2. location is good- you have to get off at liedesplien if u take the tram, its right next to the marriot. you can also hear the trafic noise thru the night as its right on the main road.but, the hotel is neat and has good toiletries, front desk is helpful too. but based on their price -better to find another place.

Room Tip: they have bigger rooms but not for priceline bidders.
