Stayed here last weekend with my brother. Booked through Priceline, Paying about £170 for our three night stay,
Asked for a twin room with a view on arrival and was granted with one, with the helpful staff saying there would be one available shortly. The room was extremely clean and the service was flawless. Despite me being a tad messy, returned to the room each night with my mess tidied up ;-) I noticed even the cups/glasses were replaced on a daily basis which i thought was kinda handy, A bonus was that the room had a security safe (free to use), which i didnt expect at all. The location of the hotel is as highlighted one of its key selling points....a tram stop directly outside and a short walk to the Leidesplein.
Bit surprised at fellow reviewers saying this hotel is only worth it at the priceline rate. Have you guys seen the prices of accomodation in Amsterdam!!! A tatty hostel (which we wouldnt have considered) would have set us back £25+ each in a similiar location. But yeah 120E (standard price) is also too much.
The only issue I have is that some of the extra services are overpriced- e.g. breakfast, fitness centre, etc..More
