Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers stayed in the Bridge Hotel for 4 nights over new year. We had the Amstel Gold apartment, a roomy, homely, lovely 'home' for our 4 nights in Amsterdam. We were close to all metro and tram routes to anywhere we needed to go. on foot it was 15 mins walk to the main shopping area and no more than 30 mins walk to anywhere. There were many nice restaurants nearby.

The living room was spacious, with comfortable furniture including a good sized table for meals and spreading out. The apartment had a separate bedroom and another separate sleeping area, away from the living room, two bathrooms and a completely workable kitchen. The view over the canal was amazing and on New years Eve was a real treat with fireworks galore all over the city skyline. Very comfortable.

Buffet breakfast in the dining room was a great start to the day. The hotel has many rooms but only 2 apartments, both similar I believe. Be advised that there are no lifts so all the luggage had to go up to the 4th floor, but worth it.

Reception staff were very efficient and pleasant and we were able to leave our luggage with them once we had checked out. Can't recommend the apartment highly enough for a place to feel at home, it is not luxurious and the TV's could be updated but after a day beating the pavements in Amsterdam it was great to flop on to the lounge and make yourself a snack and grab a drink from the fridge.

We'd spent two nights there in a family roon (third floor- no lift). It's a very clean nice room with two large beds, couch and kitchen with microwave and all the kitchenware.
Staffs are friendly and breakfast are very good.
Would come back for sure.

We were lucky enough to get a studio (on top floor) which was hugely spacious and slept 4 easily with lots of room. (Yes it is a hike up lots of stairs and a bit painful with luggage but absolutely worth it for the space and views we had) We are a family of 9 and the other rooms were a double also on a high level, along with a triple on one of the lower floors. All were actually very nice, with the studio room allowing us all to meet at different times of the day without feeling squashed. The hotel is within walking distance to Rembrandt Square and we did walk here from the train station with our luggage, but the trams are very handy for those who don't want to walk. We tended to walk everywhere and only caught a tram back to the train station from the hotel at the end of our stay. Reception staff were lovely and one recommended a very cool Ethiopian restaurant only 5 mins walk away which was a unique experience.

Stayed here several times in the past 12 months. Check-in is fast, friendly and efficient - rooms scrupulously clean and well fitted.

The 'All you Can Eat' breakfast included in the room price is an excellent way to start the day.

Ideally suited of access to trams and metro ( Central Station ) only 2 stops on the Metro - 10 minutes at most.

Room Tip: Canal view rooms are excellent.

After almost one year of planning, we were all very excited about our "girls trip" to Amsterdam, and we wew not disappointed at all! Amsterdam is the perfect place for joy, and the bridge hotel is just lovely! Friendly and extremely helpful staff, and very light and moderne rooms; my room even had a balcony and the most lovely view over the canals - ask for this when you order, it might cost you a little extra, but not very much. The hotel was also very central, but at the same time in a calm area so that it is possible to sleep at nights. The only minus was that we missed egg & bacon for breakfast and that the bread was a little dry two of the days - they did not refill the nice rolls when finished. However; very nice, we will all come back!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra to have a room with balcony and canal view!
