Yesterday evening was time to revisit Tulsi - a big restaurant for Amsterdam standards so getting a table is usually easier than other restaurants - and always busy because of the delicious food from the kitchen.
Friendly welcomers and waiters - and good wine - and of course the reason for going = the wonderful food!
We had Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken with a garlic nan - simple and scrummy!

We visited Amsterdam last year and visited an Indian Restaurant (which was higher rated than Tulsi) and rated very very well, however, we left disappointed. It turned us off Indian outside of Ireland - but, this time we decided to visit Tulsi since it was right around the corner from our hotel.

We were not disappointed. What an absolutely beautiful restaurant, as their menu says - the biggest Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. Despite being extremely busy, we were seated within 5 minutes.

Despite service being a little slow, I can't fault the restaurant in any way. It was busy, so I can certainly see why service was delayed a little.

The food was gorgeous, and plentiful. We left fealing full, and satisfied. Definitely one of the more authentic Indian restaurants we've been to. We love Indian food, and make our own at home all the time.

The restaurant had lots of Asian customers, which is always a sign that you're going to get authentic food. Lots of families too, with young children - as a father, this is good to see that they are accommodating to young children and families!

Price wise, it was a little expensive but 100% worth it. It's marketed as a fine dining Indian restaurant so we expected this. We will visit again, thanks for everything!

A very hidden gem which is absolutely stunning from the inside. Definitely a 5 star restaurant. The food was absolutely lovely. Good portions and the prices were a bit more pricey but totally worth it. The staff was friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone that lives or visits that area as it is really a secret spot for all the Indian lovers out here. A must try is the Gobhi Pakora and the Chicken Tikka Masala (attention is a little bit more spicy that usual).
