We had just a couple days in Amsterdam prior to a river cruise to the Keukenhof Gardens. Chose to meet a couple Dutch friends for lunch. We flew in from Midwest US that morning, met at our hotel and headed out. This place is tiny but easy to find with good directions - between Kalverstraat and Rokin so in Centrum but definitely NOT touristy. Reservations essential (we found out when we tried to take other friends there a week later). Small but interesting menu - chicory and saffron soup, excellent salad with goat cheese and walnuts - fresh greens from their on-site garden, very good seedy home-made breads. Portion size was perfect for our unadjusted schedule. Very nice, friendly, attentive service. Sorry we couldn't visit the second time.
