Visited Bijzonder because it was recommended by a waiter in the centre as being a great place if you are a coeliac as most things are gluten free. Glad we booked in advance as very full. Varied menu with suggested sharing plates including meat fish and vegan options but we opted for the surprise offer at €30 a head because I can never share in restaurants that are not predominantly gluten free. Delicious courgette soup, beetroot dip with GF seed crackers, sweet potato and pecorino lasagne with tofu salad. Found the meatloaf a bit scented and didn't finish it as was hoping for fish. Alas the surprise was there was no fish! Never mind. Desert was a selection of GF vegan cakes. One was moist and delicious but the others were dry and not that tasty. Would have preferred some fresh fruit perhaps or a few more varied options. Overall a good experience and food was delicious but next time I would choose from menu. High quality food small portions and quite pricey but a lovely place. Staff very helpful. Relaxing ambience.
