Arrived in Maastricht with a terribly sprained ankle, having fallen down the steps in the train while wearing a heavy backpack, and Nicole was incredibly helpful - settling me into a larger room than I'd booked (so I'd be able to stretch out and get around on the crutches I ended up needing) bringing up ice, and generally looking out for me. Made a crappy day a whole lot nicer. She also recommended some lovely local restaurants all within limping distance.
And the place itself; lovely. The rooms are beautifully appointed, private, and very, very comfortable. There is a coffee machine for that morning heart-starter, extremely comfy beds, and flexible check in and out. Nicole emailled me ahead of my arrival to ensure that she'd be there to greet me, and lives on site, so is always available to offer advice (or ice-packs!)
And the location is perfect - a relatively quiet street, close to the train station, and an easy stroll from the centre of the city. You really won't find a nicer place to stay in Maastricht.More
