Description: Grand Café D'n Ingel Why Grand Café It's not so much that a “grand café” is appropriate for a city so influenced by French culture and tradition but rather that we aim to be grand and strive for excellence in everything we do. Our façade is so narrow and modest that only those who actually enter our doors can really appreciate and discover the greatness of D'n Ingel. But once inside, it quickly becomes obvious how appropriate the old Maastricht saying is here: “Maastricht may not be wide but it is long.” The building is also as tall as it is long, due to the two upper floors that have been completely restored to their original glory. Two period rooms, the Gabriel room and the Michael room, are available here for your dinner, lunch, meeting, reception, or family celebration. But this also is not enough to justify our status as a Grand Café. The interior, the atmosphere, and the ambience are of course all part of what makes a café a Grand Café. But in the end, it's the staff that counts the most. It's their enthusiasm and passion to serve you as their guest that makes the title of Grand Café more than appropriate. A modern café-restaurant is of course not possible without a high-quality kitchen. Although our chef and his staff are rarely in the spotlight, they also more than deserve the title “Grand” due to the high quality of everything they prepare for our guests. Their passion and unwavering focus on quality and service have helped to ensure that café D'n Ingel, for some years now, has proudly and deservedly carried the name of Grand Café D’n Ingel. We look forward to welcoming and serving you as our guest in the near future.

I went to visit Maastricht and found on the internet, that they offer also gluten free food. They have a huge separate card with pasta, meat and fish dishes and also offer gluten free beer and desserts. When the food was served with a plastic covering to minimize the contamination. The food was very delicious - not only recommendable for celiacs.

We had a great time in maastricht, dinning out at this place. The burger was massive and really tasty, not too greasy, served with french fries and salad. We ordered some locally brewed biers, we really got to taste dutch food flavors. I recommend !
Plus, it was monday night and we could order our food at 10:30pm, it was the only restaurant still serving at that time !

We regularly visit Grand Café d'Ingel. Located at the Vrijthof in Maastricht it is a good place to be. For a cup of coffee as well as for a dinner. The service is good and friendly. The dishes are well prepared, and the price reasonable. This time we ordered an asparagus meal with ham and egg, with a butter sauce on it. Together with the potatoes, this tasted excellent.

The cafe / restaurant is spacious, and there is enough distance between the various tables. This makes the place reasonably private, and you can have a good conversation. The music is good, but not dominant. The cafe / restaurant is easily accessible.
