Friendly welcome from owner and hostess Lisa. She shows you around and gives you all the necessary information for a pleasant stay. Good-sized, simple rooms and bathrooms, all on the groundfloor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample and you can have a very nice dinner for a reasonable price. Right on the edge of the forest, just outside Diever the hotel is ideally placed for a walk or a stroll into town for some (grocery) shopping or eating out. This was our first time there, but we will be back. Nice place for seminars and meetings too.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view on the meadow.

A nice hotel at a great location, simple but clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and good restaurant. We went for a short weekend trip with our dog, and it's real nice to walk into the forest in 5 seconds from your hotel.

We have stayed here for a few days and enjoyed the very friendly and helpful service at this charming country hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of the forest and fields, which means you are treated to a view on the sheep in the meadow just beside your hotelroom when you wake up in the morning. Breakfast was simple in choice, but of high quality standard. The menu at the restaurant, with several regional dishes, is worth a detour. The hotel rooms are comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit outdated. However this was a minor drawback to this otherwise comfortable and charming hotel, at a very beautiful location.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view on the meadow!

My husband and I stayed here on a bicycle tour of northern Netherlands. The hotel is a bit out of town ( Diever) but what a delight. Absolutely first rate rooms and service and the receptionist Lisa was very helpful and cheerful. The roof is covered in sod and our room was just a few feet from a pasture and sheep. Enchanting and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The Diever Landhotel is a clean and comfortable hotel located in very quiet rural area in the Northern Netherlands. The building was in 1861 a Work Facility for the poor. The charming hotel is well maintained and offers a nice complimentary breakfast. Staffs were friendly and check-in was easy.

However modestly furnished, the room was impeccably clean and had a comfortable bed. Sheep are in the field right in front of your window. Free parking is right in front of the hotel. The restaurant for dinner was OK.

The Diever Middle-Neolithic Hunebed is at a walking distance. Hunebedden are chamber tombs similar to dolmens and date from the 4th millennium BC.
